Each cone adapter package comes equipped with a 1 cm length of silicone tubing, precisely matching the internal diameter of the glass test tubes available in our ant shop. Please note, the vinyl tubing side required for connecting to outworlds and formicaria is sold separately, and is compatible with standard tubing sizes used in these setups.
 
For those looking to customize their adapter, we offer additional silicone tubing in 10 cm lengths. This material is utilized to create the soft fittings that bridge the glass and plastic components of the system. The silicone tubing is FDA compliant, and can be sanitized at a temperature of 100 °C without experiencing any deformation, ensuring a safe and clean environment for your setups.

14 mm silicone tubing fits snugly into our 15 mm O.D. test tubes (not suitable for 16 mm tubes).
15 mm silicone tubing aligns securely with our 16 mm O.D. test tubes.
18 mm silicone tubing accommodates our 20 mm O.D. test tubes without any hassle.

For a 9.5 to 16mm test tube (outside diameter) connection: This option includes both the plastic adapter and the necessary silicone tube to adapt a 9.5 mm vinyl tube using a 15 mm silicone tube for a snug insertion into the inside diameter of a 16 mm test tube with a 1 mm glass thickness. (***Ideal for those planning to use these adapters with a test tube as it comprises both silicone and plastic components).
For a 9.5 to 12.7 mm (vinyl to vinyl) connection: This option includes only the plastic adapter required for connecting a 9.5 mm to a 12.7 mm (outside diameter) vinyl tubing.
